Thanks to Andy for sorting my niggle so I was able to complete my first ultra marathon, Cortina trail 50km with 2650m ascent!
I have seen many physiotherapists over the past few years, I started loosing hope and didn’t seem to be getting anywhere. Andrew has diagnosed the problem straight away, helped treat me, trained me in dealing with my injury, supported me mentally and physically throughout and guided me on what exercise I am able to do. He has given me more confidence and determination that I can still do the activities I want to do. I would defiantly recommend Andrew, if you are willing to put in the work at home and follow his exercise plans you will improve
I went to see Andrew through recommendation and I am so glad I did! His knowledge and expertise helped me to achieve my target and more in the London Marathon a couple of weeks ago. I would recommend Andrew to anyone, thank you!
Despite being a Physio myself, I found Andy’s knowledge and experience, from working within high level sport extremely beneficial, which helped to enhance my recovery from ankle surgery. Andy is continuing to support with my rehabilitation whilst I am working in New Zealand.

Andrew, you got me through the London Marathon which I couldn’t have done without you, and now you are a fantastic support to my son with his broken leg, you have given him the confidence
I went to see Andrew through recommendation from a friend who had been using him for some time. I previously had seen a physiotherapist for treatment on my patella tendon for 3 months once a week, and the treatment was in effective. I then went to see Andrew and with a thorough examination and a gym plan my tendon was recovering in the first two weeks, it has now been 2 months and my tendon is pain free and I am able to get back into playing sports. I would recommend Andrew too all my friends and family, He is great as a person and a physiotherapist and really knows what hes doing, the plans and communication throughout the treatment is a major benefit and touch wood I don’t get any more injuries, but if I do Andrew will be the first person I call every time. Thanks Andrew
I went to see Andrew on a recommendation from a friend and I can’t thank her enough! Andrew put me on a programme of exercises to help with recurring pain from a micro discectomy op, I only had 3 appointments with him and so far I am still pain free. I will be recommending Active Therapy to anyone who is in need of a physio.. Thank you Andrew, a very professional and friendly service.
“Having previous seen seven (very senior physiotherapists) and 11 other osteopaths and chiropractors in a (failed) attempt to cure a very serious and chronic muscular-skeletal condition, Andy played a key role in helping me to return to work and resume a sporting career.”
I have quite a few years of training/activities-and injuries-under my belt, and I have found Andy to be the most proficient and knowledgeable physiotherapist by far. I sought his help initially whilst waiting for knee surgery in Nottingham ….my previous physios had handed me over to the surgeon, but Andy was adamant that my injury was repairable without the knife and he was right.
Three months later under his guidance I was back out running and climbing again, and the operation was cancelled. So Andy was the guy that I tracked down in Cannock when my local sports clinic ‘couldn’t find anything wrong’ even though I could barely walk. Andy was able to assess my condition and provided me with a programme that got to the route cause …again.
So…I would highly recommend Active Therapy
